Andrew Christensen
Mr. Christensen concentrates on the review and analysis of prospective portfolio companies, directing due diligence, structuring,
negotiating and documenting acquisitions, implementing private placements, and assisting with post-closing issues in acquired companies.
Prior to joining True North, Mr. Christensen practiced law in the Corporate and Securities groups of two large law firms – Bryan Cave LLP in Phoenix,
Arizona and Schiff Hardin LLP, in Chicago. While at those firms, Mr. Christensen represented private equity groups as well as public and private
operating companies ranging from Fortune 500 businesses to highly successful, single-member, founder-owned ventures, on matters including mergers,
acquisitions and divestitures of businesses domestically and internationally, offerings of debt and equity securities, and SEC reporting obligations.
He brings the perspective of having represented founders and owners in the sale of businesses to private equity groups as well as having represented
private equity groups in a variety of transactions.
Mr. Christensen graduated cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law where he served on the board of the Small Business Opportunity Clinic
and was Managing Editor of the Journal of International Law and Business. Mr. Christensen serves on the Board of Trustees of the Arizona Science Center, including as a member of its audit committee,
and serves on the organizing committee of the Association for Corporate Growth’s annual Arizona Capital Connection conference.
